NEW SSE WILDCATS FOOTBALL CENTRES
Last year The FA piloted a new participation programme for Girls aged 5-11 following research that identified girls at Mini Soccer Age prefer to play in a girls only, fun environment; this programme is called SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Centres.
Following this Staffordshire FA developed 7 SSE Wildcats Girls Football Centre’s in the county and following a successful pilot year, The FA are increasing the offer and are seeking more deliverers for the programme.
The SSE Wildcats Girls Football Centre’s are to be delivered as a safe, fun environment for girls aged 5-11 to enjoy football for the first time. All funded activity must be NEW and cannot be an existing activity – targeting NEW participants. This is to be seen and delivered as a development centre/soccer school to help organisations generate and increase girls participation in football.
If you are interested in running a new SSE Wildcats Girls Football Centre, we are now taking applications!
