STAFFORDSHIRE WALKING FOOTBALL LEAGUE TO COMMENCE IN APRIL 2020

Working in partnership with the Staffordshire County Senior League, Staffordshire FA is excited to announce that a seven-a-side Walking Football League will be launching at Rowley Park Sports Stadium on Sunday 5 April.

With league and cup competitions, this league provides a fantastic opportunity for over-50s to get back into the game they love, playing at a slower pace in a fun, friendly and social environment. 

Fixtures will be held at Rowley Park Sports Stadium on 5 April, 17 May, 7 June, 5 July, 6 September and 4 October, with three 20-minute matches taking place on each date. The over-60s will be in action from 1.30pm – 3.30pm, whilst over-50s teams will play from 3.30pm – 5.30pm. 

FA qualified referees will be provided for each game and the matchday fee per team is £35. FA affiliation and insurance is priced at £95.
