Following on from the success of the Staffordshire Football Association ‘Celebrating Staffordshire Football’ awards evening held at Uttoxeter Racecourse in September 2022, the Association are delighted to formalise a partnership with the venue which will see us return to the racecourse again for our annual awards event in September 2023.

In addition to taking our annual awards evening back to the racecourse and the excellent facilities in their 1907 Suite, which overlooks the track and acres of rolling Staffordshire countryside, the Association will also be working together with the racecourse on other initiatives and events in 2023, including their Family Fun Days next summer. 

Gareth Thomas, Commercial & Partnerships Lead at Staffordshire FA said: “As Staffordshire FA continue to develop links with other Staffordshire-based organisations who can assist us in supporting local grassroots football. We’re delighted to develop our partnership with such a firmly established Staffordshire venue in Uttoxeter Racecourse.

“The excellent facilities at the racecourse provided a fantastic backdrop for our recent awards event, celebrating all things Staffordshire Football and recognising volunteers & organisations who are at the heart of grassroots football in Staffordshire. We’re very much looking forward to returning to the venue for our annual awards event next year. 

“In the meantime, the racecourse delivers a wide range of events throughout the calendar year which may potentially appeal to some of the demographics that we work with, so we look forward working with Brian and the team on various initiatives in 2023, including their Family Fun Days and other events throughout the year at the venue.”
