Teacher CPD Workshop

Off the back of recent feedback, I am pleased to confirm the FA will be delivering a free teacher cpd workshop scheduled to take place at St. Peter’s who have kindly offered to host. This workshop will be targeting teachers or teaching assistants who are either from special educational needs schools or mainstream schools working with children on the SEN register. The workshop will be delivered by Tom Peevor, Regional PE and Coaching in Education Coordinator at the FA.

Venue: St Peters High School, Fenton Manor, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 2RR

Overview:

This workshop will provide a basic introduction for KS3 and KS4 Physical Education lessons through invasion games (Including football) and can be adapted to KS2 if required. It will also introduce learners to the FA’s England DNA by creating a learning environment through the delivery of games and how these practices can be developed to accelerate learning.
