Support Rainbow Laces Campaign This Season
This year Staffordshire FA are teaming up with the FA & Stonewall as part of their Rainbow Laces Campaign, supporting the LGBT+ community within football.
And, we are looking for clubs and leagues to join us on the weekend of 17th and 18th November.
By joining us in this campaign, you will be part of the biggest ever display of support for LGBT+ people in football. We will be working with the Stonewall charity and The FA to make football inclusive for everyone whether you’re a fan, player, manager, coach or referee.
One simple action, wearing rainbow laces, can make a big difference. By asking people to come together over the campaign period, we are helping amplify the conversation for LGBT+ inclusion.
The campaign sees a number of players, coaches and officials changing their laces to the colour of the rainbow for one fixture weekend to show support of the LGBT+ community.
Stonewall and the FA have worked together on this campaign for a number of years, with last year being the most successful yet.
