Get More Young People Involved In Sport
Cash for Kids is looking for grassroots community sports groups from across the Midlands to take part in a unique fundraising competition.
Inspired by the Lionesses and the athletes at the Commonwealth Games, we want to help the next generation of sporting stars.
The challenge is aimed at supporting children and young people who find it difficult to get into sport, either through disadvantage or disability, so entries will be judged on how the group can make a difference to children in their community.
Groups will have from 16th September to 17th October to fundraise as much as possible, supported by Cash for Kids so they won't be going it alone. We'll be giving everyone the benefit of our fundraising experience and a full set of materials to help them raise as much as possible - providing skills to take forward into their own future activities.
ALL groups will keep 100% of the funds they raise PLUS we've got £10,000 in additional funding to win!
The top three fundraising groups will receive £5,000, £2,500 and £1,500 on top of what they raise*. Plus there’s special awards of £500 each for the best use of social media and most creative fundraising idea!
Entries are open until midnight on Monday 12th September. Please read the challenge terms and conditions before entering.
