Staffordshire Football Inclusion Champions 2023-24

The Staffordshire Football Inclusion Champion group will create a network of club & league representatives who will drive forward and support inclusion across football in their local area.

We will work collectively to set clear objectives within your development plans as part of your commitment to the Football Leadership Diversity Code & club accreditation.

Staffordshire FA will provide opportunities to attend EDI themed training workshop for Inclusion Champions and their members, along with provided further resources & learning to take part into your setting. We will recognise & reward those clubs & leagues who are actively engaging with the Inclusion Champion network & training.
 
The key objectives for the Staffordshire Football Inclusion Champions are:

• To be a part of a network of Inclusion Champions, actively engaging & championing inclusion within their club/league.
• To support EDI campaigns, attend relevant education workshops & networking sessions throughout the season (minimum of 4 per season). 
• Set clear objectives within club/league development plan from within the Football Leadership Diversity Code & club accreditation.
• Share good practice within the network to further raise awareness & support within Staffordshire.

Staffordshire FA will provide Inclusion Champions:

• A range of EDI themed workshops and awareness sessions throughout the season delivered by external organisations who are experts in their field based upon the needs analysis of the group. 
• Celebrate & reward success amongst clubs/leagues, including providing a plaque to clubs/league’s who are actively working towards their set objectives within the diversity code, engaging with their community & attending a minimum of 4x sessions during the season. 
• Develop strong relationships with non-traditional football partners, that can support Staffordshire Football to be a safe, positive & inclusive environment for all.
• Provide additional supporting resources as required throughout the season to be shared & utilised by Inclusion Champions within club/league members.
