Referee Registration Now Open

Join us for another exciting season of officiating and make a positive impact on the game!

We are delighted to announce that referee registration for the highly anticipated 2023-24 season is now open! As we gear up for another year of thrilling matches and sporting excellence, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to all referees for their hard work and dedication during the 2022-23 season. Your commitment to fair play and upholding the spirit of the game has not gone unnoticed.

In addition to expressing our gratitude, we want to highlight the range of benefits and opportunities awaiting referees who register for the upcoming season. By becoming a registered referee, you will gain access to an array of resources and support that will enhance your skills, nurture personal growth, and allow you to contribute to the community.

Before registering, please note that completing the necessary safeguarding qualifications is a requirement. The safety and welfare of all participants is our utmost priority. Please refer to the breakdown below to ensure you possess the relevant qualifications, specifically tailored for Youth and Adult football:

Youth Football, Officials aged 14 & 15:

 Youth Football, Officials aged 16+:

Adult Only Fixtures
You can only operate on adult only fixtures, these fixtures are OPEN AGE only. If you complete any youth fixtures you will be placed under a Safeguarding suspension until the correct Safeguarding requirements are met.

Once you have met the Safeguarding requirements, registering for the new season is quick and easy. Click here to begin the registration process and secure your spot for the upcoming season. As an added incentive, those who register in June will have a chance to win a full Nike referee kit, ensuring you look the part while officiating.

By registering, you will not only be able to continue your passion for the game but also avail yourself of numerous benefits, including access to 4 CORE groups, public liability insurance, referee development sessions, and the opportunity to connect with experienced referees, mentors, developers, and matchday coaches. Additionally, refereeing offers a platform for personal growth, allowing you to develop leadership and decision-making skills, improve communication abilities, and make a positive impact on the community.

For further information or if you have any questions, please reach out to Alex Scott by emailing Alex.Scott@StaffordshireFA.com. Remember, it is your responsibility to ensure that your safeguarding qualifications are completed and up-to-date throughout the season, so make sure to renew them within the required timeframe.
