Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Workshop

In a bid to foster a more inclusive and diverse football community, the Staffordshire FA is set to deliver a comprehensive 'Equality, Diversity & Inclusion' workshop, titled "Back to Basics".

The workshop will be conducted in two parts online via Zoom, offering participants the opportunity to delve into crucial topics that shape the landscape of equality in football.

Part 1:
Thursday, 25th January 2024
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Part 2:
Thursday, 1st February 2024
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

The workshop will cover:
* Diversity, equity, equality and inclusion: what they mean to football and how we talk about them
* Unconscious bias and how its influences our decision-making 
* Discrimination: what it looks like and its impact on football
* Navigating the language line and taking away the fear factor
* Recognising and addressing discrimination
* Top tips for an inclusive game across Staffordshire Football
